Ziddi, which means stubborn or strong-headed in Hindi, is an apparel and merchandise brand co-founded by my friend, Chinmay Banthia, and his business partner, Abhishek Dhariwal. Ziddi's central concept is to create wearable, usable styles that speak to the modern Indian woman. While caretaking and parental roles are lauded and prominently featured, the brand extends the feminine identity to include roles like the artist, the intellectual, and warrior.
