The Farmhouse Project was created by Isha and Indra Kadu, a couple from Maharashtra, India. Located on a kesar mango plantation, their family farm is dedicated to several projects, including a horse and animal rehabilitation, organic vegetable plot, and kids camp. I worked with them to create their logo and branding from scratch. From the beginning, Isha described she wanted the brand to feel "all-inclusive", as they have horses, ponies, bunnies, dogs, and birds on the farm. She also wanted the lettering of TFP to have a playful and imperfect feel.
With her direction I designed a custom font for "TFP", featuring organic and mottled edges. The diverse array of animals and plants are tied together by the horseshoe arch in their logo, and the colors are both bright and inviting, which appeal to the kid-focused component of their project. Lastly, I created some accompanying vector elements for their brand, including a portrait of one of their dogs, Nemo, and a mango tree branch.
